IgY Antibody Production Services from SPF Chickens

Using our own high-yield SPF hens and your supplied protein, AVS Bio conducts standard three-bird, 100-egg, three-month IgY projects. Antibodies are extracted via water dilution and pH shift then concentrated and bottled as requested.

Our hens are kept in filtered-air, positive-pressure rooms with strict biosecurity. Hens under these conditions have a naïve immune system, which allows them to ramp up IgY production quickly compared to commercial layers. See our immunization strategy below.
