Avian Antisera for Poultry Pathogen Diagnostics
AVS Bio produces monospecific polyclonal antisera against 31 poultry pathogens, for use in virus neutralization (VN), agar gel immunodiffusion (AGID/AGP), hemagglutination inhibition (HI), and immunoblotting applications.
Production & Quality
Antisera are produced in our own CAV-negative SPF chickens, housed in FAPP (Filter Air Positive Pressure) barrier facilities under strict biosecurity protocols. Birds are monitored to optimize antibody levels throughout the production period. Each batch is standardized for high neutralizing activity and screened for the presence of common poultry pathogens. A QC sheet confirming specificity is provided with each order. All antisera are heat-inactivated at 56°C for 30 minutes.
Pathogen Coverage & Format
Our antisera catalog covers Avian Adenoviruses, Avian Encephalomyelitis, Avian Influenza (including H9N2 & H5N2), Newcastle Disease, Infectious Bronchitis, Infectious Bursal Disease, Marek's Disease, and additional common poultry pathogens. Both conventional polyclonal antisera and IgY antibodies are available.
Products are available in 1 ml, 5 ml, 10 ml, 50 ml, and 100 ml volumes — liquid and lyophilized — making them suitable for single-laboratory assay use through large-scale reference standard applications. Liquid antisera are available in the USA only. Store all formats at -20°C.
