Sendai Virus Antigen for Immunological Research & Vaccine Development

AVS Bio offers Sendai virus (Cantell strain) produced in SPF (Specific Pathogen Free) embryonated eggs. Sendai virus as murine parainfluenza virus type 1 is a well-characterized respiratory virus model used across a broad range of immunological and virological research applications.

Strain & Quality

All preparations use the Cantell strain (ATCC VR-907, Parainfluenza 1). Minimum titer specifications: 2000 HA units/ml and 8.0 log10 EID50/ml. Supplied as sterile, clarified allantoic fluid or sucrose-gradient purified antigen (2 mg/ml). Store at or below -70 degrees C.

Allantoic fluid is available in 1 ml, 100 ml, 400 ml, and 800 ml volumes — making this a practical source for both small-scale assay work and larger research programs requiring bulk supply.
