VCAM1 is a cell surface sialoglycoprotein expressed on cytokine-activated endothelium. It is a type I transmembrane protein and is a member of the IgG superfamily. It mediates leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion and signal transduction. It may play a role in the development of artherosclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Production platform: This product has been produced in HEK293 cells using the rPEx® recombinant protein production platform.
