Mouse anti-ubiquitin antibody (C1)
Info
Mouse anti-ubiquitin antibody
Antibody against ubiquitin. Free (unanchored) ubiquitin plays a distinct role in activation of protein kinases and in signalling. Covalently bound ubiquitin has multiple functions. Depending on the specific protein that is ubiquitinated, ubiquitin may be involved in processes like DNA repair, cell cycle regulation, endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation or kinase modification. Therefore, the anti-ubiquitin antibody can be used to study protein modifications.
