Antibody against insulin-like growth factor (IGF) binding proteins, which have a role in shuttling and regulation of IFG molecules. Members of the IGFBP family bind with different affinities. IGFBP7 is a secreted protein that binds to IGF-I and IGF-II with a relatively low affinity. It has been shown to be implicated in apoptosis of certain cancerous cells, and to be an early marker for acute kidney injury and renal recovery after cardiac surgery. This antibody is well suited for ELISA (recommended dilution 1:1000).
