Mouse anti-human HSP60, specific for eukaryotic and prokaryotic HSP60
Mouse anti-human HSP60
This antibody is specific for eukaryotic and prokaryotic HSP60. This antibody is specific for eukaryotic human HSP6. HSP60 is a mitochondrial chaperonin belonging to the heat shock protein family, essential for the proper folding and assembly of newly synthesized or stress-denatured proteins. It plays a critical role in maintaining cellular homeostasis, mitochondrial integrity, and stress response. Beyond its intracellular functions, HSP60 can be expressed on the cell surface or released extracellularly, where it participates in immune signaling and inflammation. Dysregulation of HSP60 expression has been implicated in various diseases, including neurodegeneration, cardiovascular disorders, and cancer. Antibodies against HSP60 are widely used in studies of protein folding, stress responses, apoptosis, and mitochondrial biology.
