Mouse anti-GFP
Antibody against Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP). GFP is a naturally fluorescent protein originally isolated from the jellyfish Aequorea victoria. It emits bright green fluorescence when exposed to blue or ultraviolet light, making it a widely used reporter molecule in molecular and cellular biology. GFP and its variants enable visualization of gene expression, protein localization, and cellular dynamics in live or fixed cells. Antibodies against GFP are valuable tools for detecting GFP-tagged fusion proteins in Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation assays.
