We are actively looking for a Full Life Cycle Recruiter will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of positions within the organization. This role involves sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates, as well as collaborating with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Recruitment Strategy & Planning:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create detailed job descriptions.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for diverse roles.
Sourcing & Attraction:
- Utilize various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, networking events, school or community organization, and direct outreach to find potential candidates.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Promote the company’s employer brand and attract high-quality candidates.
Screening & Selection:
- Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and in-depth interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other team members.
Candidate Management:
- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with candidates, providing feedback and updates.
- Facilitate pre-employment assessments and background checks as required.
Offer & Onboarding:
- Prepare and extend job offers, negotiate terms, and handle offer acceptance.
- Coordinate with HR and hiring managers to complete necessary documentation and pre-employment requirements.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics and performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and best practices in recruitment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Continuous Improvement:
- Gather feedback from hiring managers and candidates to improve recruitment processes.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and new recruitment technologies.
- Contribute to team meetings and share insights and recommendations for enhancing recruitment efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a full life cycle recruiter, ideally in high volume recruiting, nonexempt position, or agriculture.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
- This role will have the opportunity to be hybrid after the onboarding but will need to be available to by in the Norwich, CT office as necessary.
- Some travel will be required in this role, to learn the business and foster relationships within the organization or to attend external events like career fairs or networking.
